From The Streets To The Suites

We were asked by Audible to help develop the campaign for the release of an original audio experience centered around Snoop Dogg. The name of the series was Words and Music, Volume 36 Snoop Dogg from the Streets to the Suites.

The Challenge

We were asked by Audible to help develop the campaign for the release of an original audio experience centered around Snoop Dogg. The name of the series was Words and Music, Volume 36 Snoop Dogg from the Streets to the Suites.

The challenge with the campaign was that there would not be a live shoot, so all campaign assets needed to be created through animation.

Add to this challenge was that we only had a selection of pre-approved talent images that we could use in the campaign. So, the approach that we developed was to lean in on this aspect and develop a series of campaign assets that centered around re-creating different moments that Snoop mentions in the audio series illustration and dynamic text animation.

Our goal was to visually show an ark based on the stories and different moments that Snoop highlights throughout the series, from his childhood to the early moments of his successful musical career.

Final Cover

The cover and key art design centered around the Los Angeles skyline with a Snoop and an iconic pose.

Playing off of the power of the black-and-white image, we decided to use subtle shades of gold to help highlight and emphasize different aspects of the overall cover and design package.
