Gone til November

We were asked by Sony Music to create an animated piece to celebrate the anniversary of Wyclef Jean's, the carnival, and specifically the release of his iconic song, "Gone til November."

Using only the audio clip from his interview, we designed an animation that leaned in on Wyclef's imagination and childlike curiosity. So we pulled inspiration from nostalgic animations like Schoolhouse Rock to create something that felt authentic, colorful, and true to Wyclef's tone.

We highlighted and showcased different pieces of inspiration that he drew upon to create the song. We also used engaging type, animation, and illustration to further emphasize Wyclef's story.
