Comedy Central challenged us to develop a campaign for the launch of Charlamagne Tha God’s new late-night show, “Tha God’s Honest Truth,” with executive producer Stephen Colbert. This was a 360 campaign that involved developing a series of on-air promos, social executions, OOH, the show package, and show open.
Our concept: For The People
People look at Char's tactics as controversial but he is just trying to get to the root of solutions. He has access to some of the most famous and intriguing people of our generation and he wants to get to know them so we do too. He is the proxy for the rest of us.
He is asking the questions that everybody wants to but can’t. Char is the beat of the culture, from the dude driving the bus to the person pushing the Escalade. He is the health worker, the doorman, and your favorite dry cleaner. He is giving power to the people by speaking the truth for them. He takes on the stickiest issues so that all of us benefit from the most honest answers.
When we all start being more authentic is when we can all start living together.
And that is THA GOD’S HONEST TRUTH.
